I love avocados! But most of I love guacamole, it’s not just a dip and can be used in so many different ways! I like to mix it into salads instead of dressing, as a condiment for burgers, toast toppings etc – the possibilities are endless! Now my recipe may not suit everyone’s taste but I totally believe guacamole is something that can be adapted to suit the tastes of each and every person so have fun and experiment with the different ratios of each element until you find one that suits you!
Serves: well that depends, I can usually finish 3 avocado’s worth myself!
Time: 15 mins
Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
1 1/2 – 2 limes (just the juice)
4 -5 garlic cloves – minced
1/2 red onion – finely chopped
handful of coriander – finely chopped
1 beef tomato – finely chopped
2 green chillies – finely chopped
salt
pepper
Instructions
1. Peel the avocados, place in a large bowl and smash with a potato masher or a fork
2. Add all the of the rest of the ingredients. (I like mine with a lot of lime juice, garlic and chilli)
3. Enjoy smothered on some toasted sourdough, nachos, by the spoon – however you like it!
